We deliver our blooms straight from the flower markets to your door on a Saturday morning. Depending on the number of deliveries, how long we ponder over the perfect flower choice, or how many times my kids woke us that night, you will receive your flowers anytime between 7am to 10am on the Saturday following your most recent payment.
Given the early hour of delivery, we will not be ringing your doorbell at that time, but rather leave your flowers in the best possible spot at your front door (ideally in shade, out of direct sight from the road). If you have a specific spot you’d like us to leave them for you, just let us know in the delivery notes and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Your flowers will be wrapped with a little water at the stems to help keep them happy while they patiently wait at your door, but we do recommend you getting them inside and into a vase as early as you can, especially on hot days.
We work directly with local growers and distributors to bring fresh and interesting blooms into your home. Your flowers won’t be ones easily found at your local supermarket, in fact they’re often even hard to come by at your local florist. Think giant Dahlia’s, romantic Peony Roses or striking Delphiniums paired with sweet complimentary blooms to brighten up even the dreariest of days. Check out our Instagram or Facebook feeds to get an idea of what we’re all about.
You do also have the option to select a neutral or bright colour palette at checkout, which we will use as a guide for selecting your perfect blooms each week. Or you can enjoy the surprise and mix it up with something different each delivery, the choice is yours.
Flowers, whilst beautiful, are sensitive little things. Each variety has it’s own vase life, with some looking fabulous for over a week and others merely a few days.
Each Saturday morning, we post on Facebook and Instagram some care tips specifically for that weeks blooms, however there are some standard steps you can take to help keep them fresh as long as possible.
- Remove any leaves that will sit below the water line.
- Make sure the vase is very clean before adding in your fresh cold (tap cold, not fridge cold) water.
- Cut each stem at an angle about 1-2cm from the bottom with sharp scissors to help them absorb the fresh water.
- Try to avoid placing your vase in direct sunlight, especially the hot afternoon sun if you can avoid it.
- Try to replace your water every other day to keep it nice and fresh. You can also cut a little more off the stems at this time if the ends are looking gunky.
- Remove spent flowers and leaves as you notice them.
- If you happen to have space in your fridge (is that a thing?) you can pop your flowers into the fridge overnight to keep them looking as fresh as possible during the day.
Your first payment will be taken when you place your order which covers your first delivery. Orders placed Sunday to Thursday will receive their first delivery the coming Saturday. Orders placed Friday to Saturday will receive their first delivery the following Saturday.
For subscription deliveries, future payments will then occur on the Thursday before your next delivery.
Weekly deliveries are pretty straight forward (payment taken every Thursday) but less regular deliveries can get a bit confusing, so just shoot us a quick email if you need clarification on your payment dates based on your order 🙂

If you’d prefer to pay per delivery (and don’t need a certificate to give them), simply checkout as normal here, enter the recipient’s address details into the shipping section and the flowers will be delivered straight to them instead of to you. Just make sure they are in our delivery area and we’ll do the rest!

In order to treat your flowers with the respect and care they deserve we do not outsource our deliveries. That means before we can deliver to an area we need to have enough orders to justify hiring a dedicated team member to look after those customers. We are always looking for new areas to expand into, so if you’re not yet on the list let us know you’re interested here. As soon as we have enough interest we’ll be in touch to let you know we’re coming to your hood.

This is where things get a bit tricky. We live in a secure apartment too so know first hand how awesome (you know…security) and annoying they can be! Because we deliver before 9am on a Saturday morning, we normally would not ring your doorbell for our deliveries, but if you happen to be an early bird we can definitely make an exception for you. We’re keen to make it work though so feel free to shoot us an email and we’ll do our best to come to some kind of deal, I mean you shouldn’t miss out on flower joys just because of a locked door right?
Easy! Simply log into your account and click Edit under Subscriptions to select your preferred delivery schedule. Hit Save and Continue to confirm your change and next payment date. As with all changes, just remember to get this done before your next Thursday payment so the change can take effect in time.
Lucky you! To pause or skip a delivery, simply send us a quick email to firstname.lastname@example.org by the Wednesday before your next payment with the dates you wish to skip and we can sort the rest for you. We’ll shoot you a confirmation email as soon as we’ve actioned your request so you know it’s all sorted.
Whilst we’re sad to see you go, we understand that breaking up is sometimes necessary. We’ve made it as easy as possible for you to cancel your subscription without having the awkward “it’s not you, it’s me” chat. Simply log into your account and click the Cancel link at the bottom of the page. You can let us know if you want one last bunch (cancel after next renewal) or if we should end things on the spot. If you want to leave us a little note as to why you’re leaving we’d love your feedback (especially if there is something we can do better), but if you’d prefer to keep that private that’s cool too, and we’ll be happy to have you back anytime! 🙂
We have high expectations here at We Bloom and you’ll only pay for flowers you love. If for any reason you’re not happy with your flowers, simply let us know within 7 days and we’ll give you a full refund. Shoot us an email to email@example.com your feedback (so we can learn from our mistake) and we’ll issue your refund right away.

I first experienced the Sydney Flower Markets one early February morning in 2014. It was the day of my engagement party, and I’d convinced my mum to join me at 5am for a mission to obtain some gorgeous blooms to decorate our party (in my pre child life this was an unheard of time to be awake – one should only be up so early if one has not yet gone to bed! How life changes?!)
As I walked into the markets at the crack of dawn and saw the sea of rich colour and the hustle and bustle of the morning market trade, I knew the early morning was worth it. This was totally my jam!
I’ve always loved having flowers in my home. I wanted to have them everyday, but I found the selections at my local florist underwhelming and the price a little OTT. I tried out a few subscription services (I’m a big fan of subscriptions I must say) but found them expensive and disappointing. Sometimes the arrangements were gorgeous, but other times they missed the mark for me with what felt like more foliage than flowers. I wanted something simple, a sizeable bunch of flowers that didn’t need a floristry degree to put together. Flowers that could be allowed to just be, to be placed in a simple vase and light up the room.
I knew the markets were my answer, but then it occured to me, surely I wasn’t the only one with this problem. How many others were missing out on the joy of fresh flowers in their home…And that’s how We Bloom came to be.
Flowers bring us so much joy, yet having fresh flowers in the home is so often seen as a luxury item, something of special occasions or rare splurges. I want to change that, to make a weekly bunch of fresh flowers no more luxurious than your daily cup of coffee. By selecting a simple mix of seasonal locally grown varieties, sourcing in bulk directly from the growers, and personally delivering to our local area, a We Bloom Flower Subscription makes that market fresh bunch affordable and convenient.
